Connect Slack, choose channels for Prodgator notifications, and let members get direct messages.
Availability
Connect Slack
An admin opens Admin Console > Integrations, clicks Connect Slack on the Slack card, and approves the Prodgator app in the Slack workspace. If the connection breaks later, the card shows Reconnect required and a Reconnect Slack button.
Channels
In Admin Console > Notifications, the Organization delivery card sets:
- Default Slack channel: where shared notifications are posted.
- A channel for each category (Business and Enterprise). A category without its own channel uses the default.
To post in a private channel, invite the Prodgator app to it in Slack first.
Direct messages
An admin turns on Slack direct messages in the Organization delivery card (Admin Console > Notifications). Each member then picks the categories they want in the Slack direct messages card in Settings > Notifications. Prodgator finds you in Slack by email address, so your Slack account must use the same email as your Prodgator account.
